Au début de sa grossesse, Diane découvre que son enfant pourrait souffrir de la maladie génétique et incurable de Huntington. Le père de son conjoint, porteur du gène défectueux et malade, vit retiré du monde dans une maison de soin. Diane sort l'homme de son isolement et se confronte à la maladie. 

 

Diane has to decide within a couple of days if she is strong enough to have her unborn child, although it's threatened by the incurable genetic Huntington disease.
